July Farmers Market Abundance

Let’s get something straight… I’m a complete sucker for farmers market pics on any blog. So, obviously, posting my own farmers market vignettes is a natural progression in the evolution of this Pacific Northwest-centric blog. Because, really, aren’t farmers markets one of thee BEST things about the PNW?! That’s a rhetorical question because DUH! they are! I feel like sharing images of one’s nearest and dearest farmers market is an expression of self and of regional identity – almost an “MTV- Cribs” of the fruit and veggie variety – a lovely and dynamic peak into another’s world.

If you’re looking for lovely ways to present and cook your market goodness here’s a thought… I’ve been eyeing this coffee table styled cookbook/entertaining guide from the folks over at Kinfolk for a while. I love how they plate, style, and have re-introduced the aesthetics of simple goodness into cooking specifically, and general lifestyle, too.
